We survived another trip to Costco! The end of year means a lot of health spending accounts flip over and whatever isn't spent is lost...so we braved the Newmarket Costco to look at glasses. I found a groovy frame which will use their new thinner lense. This is great because my lenses are thick as a weightlifter's thigh. We also got new cooking pans to replace the trashed ones we've been using for years. But wow... where else two people eat for $3 in Canada?? Granted it is just a hot dog and water... but still... (I'm still in shock from paying over $20 for two draft beer a few weeks back) We also got a bunch of 'trash' food for our new year's eve dinner... Turned out pretty good!
Bloody hell... Blue Lights seasons are just six episodes... all jacked up in season three then the season ends... season four is signed but won't be out for a while... meh!
Aww the end of Stranger Things. I thought it was VERY good... a bit long winded at times and they left open multiple narratives... so I guess it was pleasing for most people. It was very impressive effects, writing and acting. Will miss the wonderfully created characters for sure. I loved that it wrapped around to a D&D campaign to end things with...

Oh, and the US invaded Venezuela without congressional approval. SMH...

Canada, again, losing their composure late in their semi World Junior game vs. Czechia... and it cost them the game....again Sigh. Canada will play the Finns for Bronze.

Well... Canada wanted gold (of course) but they do take home a medal. The competition was fierce, finishing 3rd was a good result. The Sweds dismantled the Czechs to win gold.
