Hours of fun raking leaves. And again tomorrow! and the day after that….

I guess any day you have an old man touching your balls can’t be a good one. I had my consultation with the surgeon today and he setup a date for surgery. It will be December 9th. Yes. He asked me to cough. *gulp* The surgery will take about an hour, I’ll be home the same day. I will be recovering between one and two weeks. Gah. At least it should be done before Christmas….

We drove up to see my sister and BiL’s new house on Saturday. It is a stone’s throw from Houseshoe Valley. Literally… You can walk just down the street and be on Houseshoe hills. The subdivision they are in is very impressive. Lots of big beautiful houses on well maintained lots. They are the small house on the big block! The house is a great space and to some extent an unpainted canvas… So it is ready to become a personalized home. I hope they enjoy their new house and enjoy transforming it into a home.

Congrats to my buddy Pat who recently posted ‘Baby’. ‘Baby’ is an ultrasound photo of his son or daughter. Hopefully it all goes smoothly for him and Jenn! 😀

Still battling a bit of a cold. As is Barb. Hers seems like mine was a few days ago. I think I gave her the cold. I think I’m sleeping downstairs tonight. 😦
